Phil Barnhart submitted this enhanced Wine Collection Template that’s based on an example picture displayed on the Bento support site.
It includes four Smart Collections for different types of wine. Otherwise the template is self-explanatory for every wine connoisseur.
But I’d like to let Phil briefly intoduce himself:

“… well I’m very much an amateur wine collector and only have a small cellar in the basement that is basically an insulated box built into some crawl-space. The reason that I made the template is that I’m moving soon into a house that will have a much larger cellar and, while I’ll be able to add many more bottles to my collection, I will also have a hard time finding things when I want them. This way I should be able to organize my bottles. The Location field will contain shelf and bin number.

Mostly I have Oregon wines because that’s where I live, but I also have wines from California, Washington and France (Bordeaux mostly). I have been hesitant to buy any really good bottles because I am unsure of how well my current cellar actually works. Hopefully that will change soon!”

Have downloaded this template which looks great but I can’t enter any data. Can anyone help and tell me why. Have I done something wrong?

    Hi KEG,

First you have to add a new (blank) record. Go to the Record Menu and choose “New Record.” A second way would be to click the big “+” sign on the bottom left.
After that you can click into the fields and enter your data. When you move to another field or click outside a field, your data is automatically saved.

If you are having a different problem, please tell me.
