That was pretty fast; thanks Filemaker, Inc.

Bento 4.0.5 is supposed provide full Lion compatibility. You can download it through the in-app update feature (Bento Menu).

Good luck…

I can now add new options to my drop downs, but they still do not sync to my iPad or iPhone. Not sure why this is so hard given Apple owns Filemaker.

Greg, the syncing should work. Please report your problem to the Bento forums.

I am baffled by their new pricing structure. I recently paid $49.95 for Bento 4 and thought that was a good price but now they released 4.05 for $29.95. Do I get the upgrade for free? Also they still have their $20 off for previous user, does that mean previous users only have to pay $9.95? Obviously I now regret losing $20 by purchasing this software at $49.95 for the older version. What do you think?

    Tim,
I’m baffled too! I just saw that Filemaker changed the price of Bento 4 to $29 for new users. I had not seen an announcement about that sudden change. I will research that. You should call Filemaker and ask for $20 back if you just bought it recently! In any case, the 4.05 update is free for any Bento 4 owner. You can download and install the update from within the app.
I just checked further: they changed the loyalty rebate as well. Previous users only get a $20 rebate on the Family Pack now, not on the single user version anymore. Makes some sense, since it’s now $20 cheaper anyway.
